I was born and raised in Abilene, TX. I am a West Texas gal, and I have a profound appreciation for the region. I am a Physician Assistant with over 12 years of experience. I am NCCPA certified, ER fellowship trained, and approved to practice in Texas by the Texas Medical Board. I graduated from Loma Linda University with my Masters of Physician Assistant Sciences. I was selected for the Health Professions Scholarship Program by the United States Air Force and spent my first three years as a professional practicing medicine at the 87th MDG at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. I separated from the USAF as a Captain and completed an Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. Of course I came back to West Texas. Since my completion of my ER fellowship, I have worked as an Emergency Medicine PA in Texas for 7 years. I have worked and trained at Level 1-4 trauma centers, in critical access emergency rooms, in flight medicine, and in family practice. I have diagnosed and treated over 25,000 patients, and you can trust me to provide you with excellent care. Any provider you see at OPKOS medical will have as much or more experience than me.
